Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 “Metallic Black” Releases October 2024

The Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 “Metallic Black” is another new color scheme for the classic silhouette. This pair marks the second drop and will be released on October 2, 2024, at a retail price of $160.

So far, the Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 has been reserved for original colorways. This will change in 2024, as Jordan Brand will introduce new color options to the silhouette. Following exclusive details we leaked on the “Mocha” rendition, the brand will launch the “Metallic Black” Jordan 1 Low ’85 with a simple color palette.

This ’85 Air Jordan 1 Low comes dressed in a White, Black, and Neutral Grey color combination. Utilizing White leather across the base, the highlight of the shoes is Metallic Black on the Swoosh logos and heel overlay. The Nike Air on the tongue comes in Black and the liner, while White fills in the Wings logo. Other details include a White midsole and Grey rubber outsole.

Jordan Brand will use new packaging for the Holiday 2024 Air Jordan 1 Low 85 releases. In the past, the 85 version would come with Red and Black boxes. However, they will now come dressed in Black and Red, like the originals. Furthermore, the boxes will be slimmer. For the 1985-86 Air Jordan 1s, Nike would use slimmer boxes, and to try to recreate the nostalgia, JB will bring them back.
