Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Radiant Emerald” Releasing February 2024

The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Radiant Emerald” will feature Kobe Bryant’s number 8 and 24 and will be released on February 8, 2024. The retail price is $190. Launching exclusively via the SNKRS App, the shoes are also dubbed “Aqua” and inspired by Kobe’s off-season flow.

In 2022, Kobe Bryant’s estate signed a new deal with Nike to ensure we receive more releases of his signature shoe. Furthermore, the new partnership has led to a youth basketball center in Southern California, and proceeds from select releases donated to the Mambacita Sports Foundation. Looking ahead to what’s to come, the Nike Kobe 8 “Radiant Emerald” will debut in Spring 2024.

This marks one of two color options of the Kobe 8 Protro scheduled to release in 2024. The other pair will also feature a simplistic theme, highlighted in “Court Purple”.

This Nike Kobe 8 Protro comes dressed in a White and Radiant Emerald color combination. The shoes feature mostly White throughout with Emerald accents on the Swoosh logo, laces, and the rubber outsole, which has a translucent finish. Highlighting the shoes is Kobe Bryant’s numbers of “8” and “24” repeated across the upper. You can also expect the signature Kobe logos throughout, his signature by the heel, as well as Nike branding. As for the technology, they feature engineered mesh on the upper, no-sew synthetic overlays, leather around the collars and heels, and a plastic heel counter. Lastly, the shoes come with a full-length Lunarlon midsole and Zoom Air cushioning.
